A well-established and rapidly expanding automotive retail group, with a national footprint across multiple provinces and a diverse portfolio of leading vehicle brands, is seeking an experienced Debtors Supervisor to join its finance team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong debtors management experience and proven leadership skills to contribute to a high-performing and fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate weekly and monthly debtor reporting
- Manage and administer credit applications
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Prepare and review monthly debtor reconciliations
- Oversee the debt collection process and account recoveries
- Process settlement discounts where applicable
- Liaise with fleet merchants and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Oversee general administration and filing functions
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Debtors Clerks
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant finance or accounting qualification
- Proven debtors experience within a supervisory capacity
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
