[Hiring] Supervisor, Referrals @Humana

Role Description

As a remote Supervisor of Referrals, you will report to a Manager of Referrals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising processing of referrals/authorizations.
• Serving as a resource for the team, monitoring and coordinating referral and authorization activities.
• Prioritizing caseload between associates to optimize available resources.
• Implementing contingency operations to meet performance standards.
• Providing research and resolution of issues relating to referrals and authorizations activities.
• Facilitating training requirements for non-clinical associates.
• Developing associates for future growth opportunities through coaching and performance management plans.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required due to Department of Defense contract.
• Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Services).
• 3 years supervisory/management or Team Lead experience.
• 5 years of referral and authorization management experience.
• Previous or current TRICARE experience.

Requirements

• Work at Home Requirements: Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection suggested.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
• Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
