Duties
Greet customers warmly and offer knowledgeable assistance to enhance their shopping experience
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers
Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining an attractive store layout
Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items or upgrades
Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and basic math calculations
Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Support merchandising efforts by ensuring products are well-displayed and inventory levels are maintained
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
Assist in supervising new team members or interns when needed, fostering a collaborative environment
Learn and do Permanent Jewelry heat press and assist with our DIY bars. Assist during busy times with some coffee/soda drinks
Requirements
Prior retail sales experience or grocery store experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key!
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in bilingual settings is a plus
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations confidently
Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with professional phone etiquette
Experience in merchandising, stock management, or product demos enhances your fit for this role
Supervising experience is a bonus but not required; a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus
