Pharmacy Assistant

Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing prescription medications according to prescription orders and dosage instructions. Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and recording of medications dispensed. Provide excellent customer service to patients and customers, including greeting, assisting with inquiries, and providing information about medications and healthcare products. Address customer concerns and escalate complex issues to pharmacists as needed. Assist in maintaining pharmacy inventory by monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and replenishing medications and supplies. Ensure proper storage conditions and disposal of expired or damaged medications. Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing prescriptions, processing insurance claims, and maintaining patient records. Utilize pharmacy software systems for prescription processing, inventory control, and patient management.
